Act of Class
Gentlemen:
I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for turning a difficult situation into a positive experience.
Last Friday, April 27, we located a U-Haul truck in savannah, GA with the intent of unloading it ourselves in Charlotte on Saturday. Never did we anticipate how physically challenging it would be, to the point of suffering a minor injury.
I called your company Friday afternoon at approximately 1:00 pm seeking help to unload my truck the next day. (Yes, I needed help within 24 hours.)
First, I spoke to Rob Sullivan who instructed me to call the office to determine if my needs could be met. I had the good fortune of speaking with Betty. (I think that was her name.) I described what type of help I needed, she assured me she would call me back and let me know if it was possible to unload my truck. By 4:00 she called and said they could get a crew to help me Saturday afternoon.
Saturday came, I was contacted by Chad who gave me an estimated arrival, he called again prior to their coming so I was kept “in the loop” the entire time. When Chad and the other two gentlemen arrived they wasted no time in completing their assignment. I wish I could remember their names. I can only say that they were polite, friendly and efficient.
I am sure you get many notes of thanks. I think mine is a step from the norm. I teach Customer Service for a major health system in Savannah. What you did was to see the situation from the customers’ perspective (me) and far exceeded my expectation.
As you know, people talk about their experiences. I have certainly told lots of people about my great moving experience with your company.
Many thanks to you and your wonderful staff and I hope to use you again.
Sincerely,
Joyce Connerat
